Dear Quilters,
My name is Patricia Rosa. I am both a textile designer, with a special interest in quilt fabrics, and the proprietor of Rosa Mountain House Quilting Retreats.
About nine years ago a friend invited me to a quilt retreat in the Berkshires. Since then I’ve been hooked on quilting and retreats. I love the camaraderie, the sharing of ideas, getting inspired, learning from others and spending quality time with projects.
Five years ago, while looking for a house in the Catskills, I dreamt of finding a place spacious enough for quilt retreats. That dream came true when I found Rosa Mountain House nestled in the heart of the ancient mountains.
Since then, I have enjoyed welcoming quilters into a relaxed atmosphere, and providing them with workspace, lodging, and delicious home cooked meals, so that guests can fully enjoy their quilting weekends. This is what Rosa Mountain House is all about.
